Overview
- Responsible for monitoring crop health inside greenhouses, early detection and diagnosis of plant diseases, and implementing preventive and control programs to ensure high-quality and productive crops.
- Regular monitoring of greenhouse crops to detect early signs of diseases or infections.
- Diagnose plant diseases (fungal, bacterial, viral, and physiological disorders).
- Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
- Coordinate with cultivation and operations teams to ensure proper preventive practices.
- Monitor pesticide usage and ensure compliance with dosage and safety intervals.
- Analyze disease outbreaks and provide preventive solutions to avoid recurrence.
- Prepare regular reports on crop health status and infection levels.
- Train field workers and technicians on hygiene and preventive agricultural practices.
- Support optimization of greenhouse conditions (humidity, ventilation, irrigation) to reduce disease risks.
