Role Overview
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Manager will lead the evaluation, development, deployment, integration, and optimization of advanced manufacturing technologies.
The role covers automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, advanced machining, digital manufacturing, computer vision, industrial IoT, AI, advanced process control, simulation, and smart-factory solutions.
The position is described as fully remote in the United Arab Emirates and full-time.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, process optimization, and technology transformation.
- Lead feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, pilots, demonstrations, industrial trials, and investment business cases.
- Lead projects from concept and design through implementation, commissioning, stabilization, and production handover.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, engineering, automation, IT, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and operations.
- Define technical, process, safety, quality, performance, validation, and acceptance requirements.
- Integrate automation with MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs, robotics, databases, and industrial communication networks.
