Position Summary
- To provide effective instruction in specific course(s) in the assigned General Business subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to the second language learners within a student centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture,
- To actively participate in academic and extra curricular events at the College and within the community.
- Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed within the college to enhance student learning, and who bring with them a wide array of practical knowledge and varied experience.
- Reporting to the Program Coordinator of a Division, Adjunct Faculty provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in respective discipline, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior level specialized courses.
- Involvement in applied research and extra curricular events at the College and within the community and outreach activities are welcomed.
- Adjunct Faculty teaching load are assigned on as per need basis and may not exceed Nine (9) credits per semester.
- The workdays in a week are normally Mondays to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Requirements
- PhD or Masters in TESOL/English Literature or other relevant degree.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience is preferred.
