Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of HCT's system wide strategy
- Assist with the development and preservation of system wide and Faculty/Division specific policies
- Participate in the academic and extra curricular events at the College and within the community
- Engage in applied research relevant to the Division's interest and the national innovation agenda
- Use a practical, applied approach and teach courses that are in line with course syllabus and program goals
- Develop and utilize various educational technology resources to ensure effective and innovative instruction
- Apply strategies to ensure effective student learning within a second language environment
- Provide continuous feedback on student progress through a variety of assessment tools
- Take a student centered approach, providing individual assistance and dealing promptly with student issues
- Evaluate students and timely update grades
- Contribute to question banks and/or coursework assessments as requested
- Serve as student advisor as assigned
