Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate acoustical design calculations, simulations, technical studies, and engineering reports
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, AV system designs, and contractor submissions for compliance
- Supervise and inspect acoustical construction works, including sound insulation, acoustic treatments, auditorium systems, AV installations, and specialized acoustic materials
- Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and quality requirements
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical recommendations for acoustical and AV related issues
- Review contractor progress, quality of work, testing, commissioning activities, and acceptance procedures
- Quantify completed works and evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders related to acoustical systems
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, AV specialists, and project stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, punch lists, and project documentation as required
- Support project management team during design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and project close out activities
Requirements
- Experience in acoustical engineering and AV systems
- Knowledge of acoustical design calculations and simulations
- Ability to review shop drawings and material submittals
- Strong coordination and communication skills
