Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end Accounts Receivable process for insurance premiums and related receivables
- Monitor aging reports and ensure prompt collection of outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate customer account records and reconcile receivable accounts regularly
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and customer statements
- Follow up with customers, brokers, agents, and corporate clients for overdue payments
- Ensure achievement of monthly collection targets and reduction of overdue balances
- Accurately allocate and apply incoming payments against customer invoices and policies
- Reconcile bank receipts, remittances, and payment records
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and payment mismatches
- Review customer credit limits and monitor credit exposure
- Assess customer payment behavior and recommend credit limit changes where required
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collection, Cash Application, and Credit Control experience within the Insurance industry working in the UAE
- Experience working with insurance brokers, policyholders, and corporate accounts
- Knowledge of insurance premium billing and collection processes
- A driving license is a must, flexible to travel to the client
