Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records under IFRS and UAE regulations and prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Perform reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, invoice and payment processing, and receivables follow-up.
- Support treasury, cash-flow forecasting, corporate tax, VAT filings, and UAE tax compliance.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.
- Maintain internal controls, conduct variance analysis, track expenses, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and translate or interpret Chinese-English financial documents and communications.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, or an equivalent professional accounting certification is mandatory.
- At least one year of professional accounting experience is required, including qualifying internship or full-time experience.
- Big Four or large multinational company experience is highly desirable.
- Strong accounting, financial reporting, UAE tax, accounting software, Excel, and financial modeling knowledge is required.
- Fluency in English and working proficiency in Chinese Mandarin are mandatory.
