Accountant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounts for UAE and India operations.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, income statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain financial controls.
• Manage UAE VAT calculations, records, reconciliations, and filing requirements.
• Maintain inventory records, process accounting transactions, and support payroll.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash-flow planning.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and external parties.
• Coordinate office maintenance, servicing, and office supply requirements when required.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable UAE regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Experience independently handling a complete set of accounts.
• Experience with multiple-company accounting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Experience in payroll, inventory accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and own accounting functions.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary is AED 3,000–4,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
