Role overview

Accounting responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, and other financial reports.
• Handle UAE VAT records, calculations, and reconciliations.
• Process monthly payroll and maintain employee salary and leave records.
• Monitor cash flow and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Additional responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and stock-related accounting records.
• Assist with audits, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial requirements.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, and external parties.
• Support management with financial and administrative tasks.
• Assist with office supplies, maintenance, and general administrative requirements.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
• Microsoft Excel and accounting software knowledge.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and inventory is preferred.
• Strong accuracy, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Compensation and benefits

• AED 3,000–AED 4,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
