Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist in development and monitoring of the organization's budget
- Prepare and file various tax returns including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax
- Assist in preparation for external audits
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
- Work closely with other departments to gather information and resolve discrepancies
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned
- Handle PRO related work like visa processing and labor contracts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment in UAE
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and regulations
- Own visa preferred

Job Summary
- BastionEx is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support day to day financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records for the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the organization's budget.
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
- Work closely with other departments to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and support cross functional initiatives.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Should have knowledge to do PRO related work like visa processing and labor contacts and assist the HR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment in UAE.
