Job Summary
Firstpoint Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3–4 years of UAE experience, in the fit-out or construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings
- Assist in budgeting and cost control, especially for fit-out projects
- Monitor project-related expenses and profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE (fit-out/construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software Odoo
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Experience in project accounting within the fit-out industry
- Immediately available candidates
- Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
