Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Accountant** to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support the company’s financial health.
The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file tax returns
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve processes
- Support external audits by providing required documentation
- Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving measures
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Experience with financial reporting and tax preparation
- Valid UAE driving license (must)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
