Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and practical experience handling day-to-day accounting operations in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, invoicing, and expense recording.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Record journal entries and ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.
- Manage invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting financial documents.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.
- Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with banks, suppliers, clients, auditors, and other external parties when required.
- Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
