Role overview
Manage accounting and financial operations for the employer in Dubai.
The role combines accounting transactions, reporting, receivables, office operations, and financial process support.
Job responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Publish financial statements on time.
- Maintain financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Track and collect receivables in a timely manner.
- Assist with general office operations.
- Support financial projects, process improvements, and system implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role based in the UAE.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Sound knowledge of UAE VAT laws.
- Fluent English in written and oral communication.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant accounting software.
- Gujarati language speaking ability is required.
