Role Overview
Accountant responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, VAT preparation, audit support, and daily accounting operations.
The role supports manufacturing and trading activities and requires accurate records, internal controls, and confidential handling of financial information.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Prepare sales, expense, customer aging, vendor aging, financial performance, financial position, and cash flow reports.
- Perform cost accounting, financial management, financial planning, and budgeting.
- Prepare UAE VAT filings and audit requirements.
- Manage daily accounting department operations and meet financial accounting objectives.
- Establish accounting methods, policies, principles, internal controls, and corrective actions.
- Maintain transaction files, verify payment documentation, and request disbursements.
- Manage petty cash, including issuances and receipts.
- Enter receipt, journal, and payment vouchers and record prepayments and accruals.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cost accounting, UAE VAT procedures, import and export procedures, and arithmetic applications.
- Experience managing multiple trade licenses in manufacturing and trading sectors.
