The organization is seeking an Accountant to manage accounting activities and support financial reporting and controls.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Prepare budget forecasts.
- Publish financial statements on time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Protect financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements and Skills
- Have three years of experience as an Accountant in the retail industry.
- Have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
- Have hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Have experience with general ledger functions.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Hold a degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
Compensation
- The listed pay is AED 1.00 per month.
