Position Overview
The A/C Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs air-conditioning and HVAC systems at project and client sites.
The position is full-time and site-based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair split, package, window, and other air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related faults.
- Repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, thermostats, and control systems.
- Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection, pressure testing, and component cleaning.
- Conduct routine inspections and respond to breakdown and emergency maintenance calls.
- Use tools, testing equipment, and PPE, maintain service records, and report technical issues.
- Follow company procedures, HSE requirements, and client or site regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- ITI or diploma in HVAC, refrigeration, air conditioning, or a related trade is preferred.
- Two to five years of relevant UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of air-conditioning maintenance and troubleshooting is required.
- Electrical and basic control systems experience is advantageous.
- Physical fitness and comfort working at heights and outdoors are required.
