Workstudy - Career Services

The Work-Study for the Career Services office will operate in a clerical role to help the daily operations of the office.

The student in this workstudy will help keep the office organzied and clean, help answer inquiries directed to the office, and assist in any career service events.

• Greet and serve as first point of contact in the office for visitors including students, employers, and campus constituents
• Answer inquiries by phone, email and in person in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments with with the Career Services Director and relay messgaes to the students
• Accurately enter internships, jobs descriptions, and employer information into database
• Accurately enter event evaluations, registration information, and student attendnace into Excel
• Assist with information gathering and the collection of data related to surveys and evaluations
• Assist with gathering information on current opportunities within the local community
• Assist students in creating their profiles in database system or resource platforms
• Assist with promotion of events to current students
• Participate in set-up and implementation of job fairs and represent Career Services in a professional manner to employers and students
• Maintain organization of office through filing, arrangement of publications and organziation of supplies in storage area
• Other duties as assigned
