Simulation Center Educator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in nursing, an allied health profession, health sciences, health professions education, healthcare simulation, education, or a closely related field required; master's degree preferred
• Minimum of three years of relevant clinical, healthcare, higher-education teaching, professional education, or workforce-training experience required
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare education, clinical instruction, simulation design or facilitation, structured debriefing, curriculum development, skills training, or competency assessment required
• Candidates whose highest earned degree is a bachelor's degree must demonstrate substantial additional preparation in simulation-based education, adult learning, curriculum and assessment, and structured debriefing
• Current, unrestricted professional license or certification required when applicable to the candidate's discipline and assigned teaching responsibilities
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator credential preferred at appointment; attainment within two years of hire or when eligible is expected
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet University insurance requirements
• Ability to travel statewide and work occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight assignments as required
