What You'Ll Be Doing
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and recommending corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including daily reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works, including power distribution systems, lighting installations, wiring, and control systems.
- Support site safety by ensuring that all workers adhere to electrical safety protocols and by helping to minimize risks associated with electrical works.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to support the timely delivery of materials and services required for electrical works.
- Assist with testing and commissioning activities, ensuring that electrical components meet the required quality, safety, and functionality standards before handover.
What Required Skills You'Ll Bring
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical construction inspection, including at least 5 years in an inspection role on large-scale infrastructure projects related to roads, drainage systems, water supply networks, and sewer systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and capable of preparing clear and accurate inspection reports.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and check construction work for accuracy and compliance.

- Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing site conditions.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and local codes, particularly in the Middle East or GCC region.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other electrical engineering design or review software.
- Ability to work under pressure and support multiple projects at the same time.
