Workday Finance Analyst

Accounting and Period Close

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities within Workday Financials.
• Assist accounting teams in ensuring complete and accurate financial data and reporting outputs.
• Streamline close processes and reduce manual work through system automation.
• Maintain financial reporting hierarchies and attributes aligned with accounting requirements.

Governance, Risk, and Controls

• Maintain governance over financial data, system configuration, and business process controls within Workday.
• Execute validation reporting and monitoring to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests related to financial systems, reporting, and controls.
• Document and continuously improve financial processes and system governance practices.

Release Management and Support

• Coordinate and execute testing of biannual Workday Finance releases.
• Assess the impact of new functionality on financial processes, reporting, and controls.
• Provide functional support to Finance users and troubleshoot system and reporting issues.
• Develop user documentation, deliver training, and liaise between Finance and IT.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience is required, preferably with financial accounting system administration.
• Relevant education in Business, Finance, or IT is required.
• Ability to work with complex systems and understand system processes and configurations.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and teamwork skills are required.
• Workday ERP experience is considered an asset.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as business needs require.
