Role Overview
Parsons is seeking an experienced Works Inspector (Electrical) to oversee daily site operations related to electrical construction in Qatar.
The role supports project delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical construction activities for compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report work progress, identify potential delays or issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Inspect materials and workmanship against required quality standards and specifications.
- Document inspections through daily reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
- Coordinate electrical works involving power distribution systems, lighting installations, wiring, and control systems.
- Manage site safety and ensure workers follow safety protocols for electrical works.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to support timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist with testing and commissioning before handover.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 8 years of experience in electrical construction inspection.
