As part of your pre-hire screening, you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Should you accept employment with the Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances, exigent or otherwise, as required by the Human Resources Division.

Psychological screening will be administered during the pre-hire process, which may include multiple-choice computer-administered tests, and a clinical interview conducted by a contracted psychologist. The successful candidate will be continually exposed to video and content that may be graphic and be required to interact with the media.

Due to the exposure of potential graphic material, successful candidates will have a mandatory annual mental wellness session with a clinical licensed psychologist.

Please note that the option to work remotely is not currently available.
