Role Overview
Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) for its growing small animal practice in Muncy, Pennsylvania.
The role is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates and includes collaborative support, advanced medical resources, and structured mentorship.
Mentorship Program
- Mentorship includes personalized development plans based on goals and interests.
- The program provides collaborative case discussions, second-opinion support, and hands-on coaching in medical and surgical procedures.
- Regular feedback and professional development opportunities are provided in a supportive environment.
Core Competencies
- Core work includes small animal medicine, preventive care, companion animal health, veterinary diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
- Additional competencies include client communication, case management, team collaboration, anesthesia and pain management, digital radiography, and ultrasonography.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent is required.
- Applicants must be licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication, high-quality patient care, collaboration, continued learning, and professional growth are required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation includes a competitive salary plus production and a sign-on bonus.
- Relocation assistance and temporary housing may be available.
- Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, continuing education allowance, flexible scheduling, and a four-day work week.
Facility
- The modern hospital has separate dog and cat entrances and waiting areas, 12 exam rooms, and a dedicated anesthesia recovery area.
- Facility resources include digital and dental radiography, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, ultrasound, a large treatment area, boarding, and grooming services.
Practice and Location
The six-doctor team provides mentorship and support for medicine, surgery, diagnostics, and client communication.
Muncy, Pennsylvania offers access to outdoor recreation and nearby cities including Williamsport, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and New York City.
