Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of the hospital.
The role focuses on client experiences, compassionate service, appointments, patient flow, phones, transactions, and service information.
Responsibilities
- Create exceptional client experiences and build trust through compassionate service.
- Manage appointments and daily patient flow.
- Handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions.
- Process transactions and support clients with information about hospital services.
Schedule
- This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule.
- Availability is needed Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Compensation
- Compensation is $20 to $23 per hour for each hour worked.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in veterinary customer service or a reception role is required.
- Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to manage multi-line phones while assisting in-person clients.
- Strong communication, organizational, time management, payment processing, and financial record skills are required.
- Appointment scheduling experience is preferred.
- Candidates should provide compassionate service, collaborate with the team, and remain calm during busy periods.
