A WMS Consultant (Warehouse Management System Consultant) is a professional who specializes in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) used in logistics and supply chain operations.

- A WMS Consultant helps companies manage and improve warehouse operations such as:
- Inventory tracking and accuracy
- Order fulfillment processes
- Receiving and shipping workflows
- Warehouse layout and efficiency
- Integration with ERP and logistics systems
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze warehouse business processes and requirements
- Configure and customize WMS software (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan, Oracle WMS)
- Lead WMS implementation or upgrade projects
- Integrate WMS with ERP, TMS, and other supply chain systems
- Perform system testing (UAT, integration testing)
- Train warehouse staff and end users
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support
- Optimize workflows to improve productivity and reduce costs
