About the Role
VAM Systems seeks a Windows System Engineer for a leading bank in Qatar. The role requires 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, and PowerShell.

Responsibilities
- Day to day administration of Microsoft Windows servers
- Monitor critical servers (Exchange, Blackberry, Domain Controllers, MOSS) for proper functioning, disk usage, and critical alerts
- Configure Blackberry devices for senior management and troubleshoot issues
- Configure Exchange mailboxes (move to higher quota, grant rights)
- Perform periodic maintenance of servers (restarts, upgrades)
- Assist application team with infrastructure related issues
- Provide support to Helpdesk and staff regarding server/application issues
- Install Windows on physical servers as needed
- Periodically update Windows patches and harden servers per schedule
- Proactively take ownership and resolve technical issues to closure
- Involve in project related activities from Microsoft Infrastructure side
- Implement disaster recovery solution using Double Take for physical servers
Requirements
- 5 10 years experience with Microsoft technologies
- Experience with Systems Centre Orchestrator
- Excellent System Center skills
- Expertise in Windows Server OS 2003/2008 R2/2012, Active Directory, Exchange, ISA/TMG, WSUS, SCCM, Blackberry, Windows Clustering, PowerShell
- Available on call 24/7/365

- Expertise in Windows Server OS 2003/2008 R2/2012, Active Directory 2003 and 2008, Exchange 2003/2010, ISA 2006/TMG, WSUS, SCCM, Blackberry, Windows Clustering & Windows Load Balancing, PowerShell

- Provide improvement plan for Microsoft technologies meeting Bank objectives
- Provide/Review Technical Solutions/Designs for new and existing projects/Infrastructure

- Selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and be deputed to one of the leading Banks in Qatar
