About the Role
Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Officer to drive safety programs at a fulfillment center in Riyadh. The role involves risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and training.

Responsibilities
- Lead site risk assessment for current and new activities
- Establish site WHS training matrix
- Lead implementation of site specific WHS standards and guidelines
- Lead implementation of site WHS objective and programs
- Promote safe culture among employees by providing daily WHS content to shift briefing
- Perform frequent site safety audits to identify non compliance equipment and processes
- Work with Operations team to implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury
- Attend to incidents and occupational injuries cases on site
- Guide and assist area managers on incident investigations, Gensuite write up and communication of lesson learned
- Assist Ops team in Gensuite follow up sheet and CAPA creation
- Audit record keeping practices and ensure Gensuite entries aligned with global WHS standards and local regulations
- Ensure PPE inventory at site and coordinate with procurement for order placement
Requirements
- Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls
- Experience in data analysis, with ability to interpret and draw insights from data
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred)

Description
- Amazon is looking for a Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to add to the team.
- The role is to drive health and safety across the fulfillment center in Riyadh.
- This position reports to the WHS Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site risk assessment for current and new activities.
- Establish site WHS training matrix.
- Lead implementation of site specific WHS standards and guidelines.
