Role Overview
The Welding QC Inspector performs welding inspection and quality control activities for oil and gas projects.
The work includes offshore projects, fabrication, assembly, topsides, jackets, piping, and pipeline welding.
Inspection and Compliance
- Ensure welding and NDT activities comply with project requirements, international codes and standards, ADNOC requirements, and Company Technical Standards.
- Maintain inspection documentation and review radiographs and NDT reports.
- Handle PWHT activities, dimensional control, hydro-testing packages, and punch-list activities.
Requirements
- Experience performing welding inspection and quality control activities for oil and gas projects.
- Knowledge of applicable project requirements, international codes and standards, ADNOC requirements, and Company Technical Standards.
- Experience with welding and NDT activities for fabrication, assembly, topsides, jackets, piping, or pipeline welding.
- Experience reviewing radiographs and NDT reports.
- Experience with PWHT, dimensional control, hydro-testing packages, and punch-list activities.
