About the job

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Adherence to quality, health & safety, information security, and business continuity policies.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work as directed by supervisors.
• Carry out welding repairs to a high standard, ensuring durability and safety of equipment.
• Support maintenance and repair activities across the sand plant and related operational areas.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Inspect work areas and report faults, defects, or observations to the supervisor.
• Work closely with plant operators and maintenance teams to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager.
