HSSEQ Developee (Qatari National) (879)

In this interesting role, you will be working in our HSSEQ Division , supporting the implementation of health, safety, security, environment, and quality practices across Al‑Awalia operations.

The HSSEQ Developee role is designed for Qatari Nationals to support HSSEQ activities while developing technical, compliance, and operational HSSEQ capabilities through structured on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and national development initiatives in line with Qatarization objectives.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Adherence to all company health, safety, security, environmental, quality, information security, and business continuity policies and procedures.

Support the implementation of approved HSSEQ policies, procedures, guidelines, and frameworks across sites and departments under supervision.

Assist in identifying applicable HSSEQ standards, regulations, and requirements relevant to Al‑Awalia operations.

Participate in HSSEQ awareness initiatives, inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors.

Support coordination with HSSEQ service providers required for implementation of HSSEQ activities.

Assist in preparation for external HSSEQ audits and certification processes (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or equivalent).

Participate in internal HSSEQ audits and support documentation of findings, corrective actions, and improvement plans.

Support follow‑up on audit findings and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Assist in incident, accident, and near‑miss investigations and support preparation of reports and corrective action plans.

Support site inspections, safety walks, and compliance monitoring activities to ensure adherence to HSSEQ standards.

Maintain HSSEQ records, reports, statistics, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Assist in data collection and analysis to support HSSEQ planning, reporting, and performance monitoring.
