Role Overview
Design and deliver municipal-scale potable water infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Work from the Upland, California office with increasing ownership of project delivery and opportunities to mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, manage, and support construction for municipal water infrastructure projects.
- Design potable water pipelines, pumping systems, water treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
- Prepare calculations, hydraulic analyses, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform hydraulic modeling, pump selection, head loss calculations, pipeline sizing, and system evaluations.
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and perform quality control.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Review submittals, respond to RFIs, evaluate design modifications, and resolve field issues.
- Develop cost-effective solutions that meet hydraulic, environmental, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- California Professional Engineer license.
- Five to seven years of experience designing municipal potable water systems.
- Experience with water pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
