Washerman role responsible for meeting the resort's laundry needs and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
The position is based at The Cove Rotana.
Job Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, iron, and fold all types of clothing and linens.
- Follow care instructions and proper cleaning techniques for different fabrics.
- Inspect clothing for stains or damage and treat items accordingly.
- Track inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Washerman or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and proper care techniques.
- Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and irons.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy laundry loads.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Additional Skills
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing detergents and fabric softeners.
