Role Overview
- Under the authority of the Training Manager, the Warfare Instructor is responsible for the delivery of operational training in the fields of Principal Warfare Officer (PWO) and Gunnery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and deliver theoretical and practical training modules covering naval warfare fundamentals, tactical planning, combat decision making, and the employment of weapon systems, with a focus on artillery and fire control.
- Implement, prepare, and conduct training sessions using the tactical simulator, ensuring realistic and operationally relevant scenarios.
- Develop exercises, supervise simulator sessions, and debrief trainees.
- Coordinate with the training chain of command at the Qatar Naval School and DCI project management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of training programs and ensure alignment with modern naval doctrines and operational standards.
- Assess trainee performance, produce training reports, and maintain proper documentation.
