Receiving and Inspection
- Receive incoming shipments and verify items against delivery notes or purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation upon receipt.
Storage and Inventory Control
- Store materials in designated locations according to the warehouse layout and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through periodic stock counts.
- Update inventory records in manual or digital systems as required.
Picking and Dispatching
- Pick and prepare orders according to the delivery schedule.
- Pack items safely and verify them before dispatch.
- Coordinate with drivers and dispatch teams for timely delivery.
Warehouse Maintenance
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and machines are maintained and used safely.
- Follow company safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly warehouse reports.
- Support auditors during stock checks.
