Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements and reconcile discrepancies
- Identify and report any inventory shortages or damages promptly
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from designated warehouse locations
- Ensure correct quantity and quality of products are picked as per order specifications
- Follow picking procedures to minimize errors and maintain efficiency
- Safely and securely pack picked items using appropriate containers or packaging materials
- Verify packing slips and shipping labels for accuracy and compliance with customer requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area for smooth operations
- Receive incoming shipments and transfer items to their designated storage locations
- Perform put away activities efficiently to optimize warehouse space utilization
- Update inventory records to reflect accurate item locations within the warehouse
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in warehouse operations (stock check, picking, packing, put away, inventory)
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and safely operate material handling equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication abilities and a team oriented mindset
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed
