Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Lead and monitor warehouse staff, assign tasks, manage schedules, and review performance.
• Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, and movement of inventory.
• Maintain stock records and inventory levels in ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, and stock variances.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Sales, Finance, and logistics partners.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely order processing and dispatch.
• Maintain warehouse organization, storage standards, and efficient use of space.
• Implement procedures, safety standards, and operational controls.
• Monitor equipment, tools, and facilities and report maintenance requirements.
• Prepare performance reports, improve processes, train employees, and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Have proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or a related field.
• Have strong knowledge of receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control processes.
• Have experience managing warehouse staff and coordinating daily operations.
• Have strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Understand warehouse safety, stock control, and operational procedures.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities under pressure and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Previous supervisory experience, systems experience, and a relevant diploma or bachelor's degree are preferred or advantageous.
