The position is a full-time, mid-level Project Engineer role.
The Project Engineer supports planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects.
The role works with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to achieve safe, timely, cost-controlled, and quality-compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and review project plans, drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, operations, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
- Monitor progress, budgets, resources, schedules, technical deliverables, risks, delays, and cost impacts.
- Conduct inspections, technical assessments, testing, commissioning, verification, close-out, handover, and lessons learned.
- Support procurement, cost control, resource planning, change management, issue resolution, reporting, and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, quality procedures, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project engineering, engineering coordination, construction, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and project execution processes.
- Experience coordinating projects, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, engineering documentation, and project plans.
- Strong project coordination, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project, is an advantage.
- Experience with AutoCAD, engineering design software, ERP, or project management systems is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Professional engineering or project management certification is an advantage.
