About the Role
Olgoonik Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to receive, issue, and prepare hazardous materials for shipment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities
- Receive, issue, and prepare hazardous materials for shipment
- Use DSS/WMS and other government data systems to perform requirements
- Perform materials examiner and identifier duties including identification, examination, classification, acceptance/rejection, and condition code assignment
- Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as assigned
- Count, weigh, record data, apply tags and labels
- Read specifications, drawings, prints, schematics and photographs
- Prepare reports relating to distribution functions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum three years of experience in distribution and warehousing of hazardous material using DSS/WMS or equivalent
- Must be able to acquire license to use Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Proficient in Distribution Standard System (DSS) and other automated distribution systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Email)
- Successful completion of OSHA compliance training and Hazardous Materials Preparer Certification
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a US Government background check

Overview
- Warehouse Specialist responsible to receive, issue, and prepare for shipment all hazardous materials
- Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Primary Responsibilities
- Uses DSS/WMS and other government data systems to perform the requirements in the PWS
- Performs full range of Materials Examiner and Identifier duties
- Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands
- Operate tools and equipment in performance of duties
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as assigned and hold appropriate license
- Count, weigh, record data, apply tags and labels
- Able to use basic processes of inspection/examination procedures for material
- Able to read specifications, drawings, prints, schematics and photographs
- Able to prepare reports relating to distribution functions
- Able to make preventive maintenance adjustments to related equipment
- Perform all other duties as assigned working with and around Hazardous Material
Education And/or Experience
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum three years’ specific experience in distribution and warehousing of hazardous material using DSS/WMS or equivalent within past five years
- Must be able to acquire license to use Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Must be proficient in the use of Distribution Standard System (DSS) and other automated distribution systems
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access and E mail
- Must demonstrate good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team
- Must be able to multi task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment, and have strong attention for detail
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Successful completion of OSHA compliance training and Hazardous Materials Preparer Certification
- IAW Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) Part II, Cargo Movement, Chapter 204 7 Training
- DLAI 4145.3 Preparing Hazardous Material for Military Air Shipment
- DLAI 1307 Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Training for Packaging and Transportation Personnel Process Guidance prior to beginning of full performance
Security Clearance
- Position requires U.S. Citizenship and pass a US Government background check
Physical Demands
- Occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, operate office equipment, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Work Environment
- Work performed in both indoor and outdoor warehouse, as well as in an office setting
- Bahrain known to have hot and humid seasonal temperatures
