Role Description
The role supports daily warehouse operations, inventory handling, shipment coordination, documentation, and logistics activities.
The position also contributes to warehouse performance, workflow improvement, compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
Warehouse Operations
- Support receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory handling.
- Coordinate goods movement and verify shipments against purchase orders, delivery documents, picking lists, and system records.
- Maintain inventory records through stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, drivers, and internal departments for deliveries and collections.
- Investigate discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, and delivery issues.
- Update warehouse, inventory, ERP, or WMS systems accurately and promptly.
Planning and Improvement
- Support stock allocation, replenishment, order fulfillment, warehouse planning, and logistics coordination.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, and turnaround-time indicators.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse workflows, space utilization, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure activities comply with policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipment handling, and stock management.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, numerical ability, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills with warehouse and logistics stakeholders.
- Ability to follow procedures, prioritize tasks, manage multiple requirements, and work independently.
- Physical and operational comfort working in a warehouse environment where required.
- A proactive, responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and team-oriented approach.
Advantageous Systems Experience
- Familiarity with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems, barcode systems, scanners, or inventory management software is advantageous.
