Role Description
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Lead sustainability programs covering environmental impact, resource efficiency, waste reduction, energy management, and responsible business practices.
- Monitor performance, establish measurable targets, and track environmental and social indicators.
- Collect and analyze sustainability data for reporting, evaluation, and management decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to embed sustainability into operations and supply chain activities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce emissions, energy use, waste, and resource consumption while improving efficiency.
- Support assessments, audits, certifications, disclosures, and compliance with environmental requirements and reporting frameworks.
- Develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and management updates with insights and recommendations.
- Monitor sustainability regulations, trends, standards, and best practices, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Promote sustainability awareness through training, communication, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate across procurement, operations, finance, HR, marketing, and other functions.
- Evaluate sustainability risks and opportunities and support action plans and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles, ESG concepts, environmental management, and responsible business practices.
- Knowledge of carbon emissions, energy efficiency, waste management, resource conservation, and sustainability reporting.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, standards, certifications, environmental regulations, and ESG reporting tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, strategic, results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate sustainability priorities to different audiences.
