Position Summary
- The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of Alarkan's warehouse and distribution operations.
- This role is a strategic leadership position responsible for building a disciplined, high performance operation that supports commercial growth while protecting inventory accuracy, service levels, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day to day warehouse activities including receiving, put away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and inventory control.
- Ensure warehouse activities support customer service objectives and commercial growth plans.
- Develop and maintain efficient warehouse workflows that maximise productivity and accuracy.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all warehouse functions.
- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance excellence.
- Take full ownership of inventory accuracy and stock integrity.
- Ensure cycle counting programmes are executed effectively and consistently.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Establish inventory control processes that minimise stock losses and errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within SAP and warehouse management systems.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and sales teams to improve inventory performance.
- Develop warehouse productivity metrics and performance dashboards.
Requirements
