The Role
Oversee warehouse operations for a multi-site food manufacturing company expanding with a grain storage and processing facility.
Manage receipt, storage, packing, and dispatch of flour and raw materials while coordinating production and distribution.
Location
- The role is located in the UAE, covering Sharjah and Ajman operations.
- The warehouse role involves physical site-based operations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receiving, storage, and dispatch across multiple locations and coordinate with production departments.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the warehouse team while setting KPIs for productivity and quality.
- Implement SOPs, optimize layout and space utilization, and use SAP-based WMS for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Maintain health, safety, and food safety compliance, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards.
- Manage the warehouse budget, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with transport and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective customer dispatches.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of progressive warehouse management experience.
- Experience in flour milling, food manufacturing, or FMCG is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP Business One, WMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP food safety standards; a food manufacturing certificate is an advantage.
