Role Overview
Procurement Manager responsible for procurement strategy and execution in landscaping and horticulture operations and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with operational and project requirements.
- Manage requisitions, sourcing, purchase orders, deliveries, back orders, and PO closure.
- Source plants, trees, palms, shrubs, and other softscape materials from local and international suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with UAE nurseries, plant suppliers, and international vendors.
- Lead supplier negotiations and manage commercial terms, contracts, and agreements.
- Manage procurement budgets, costs, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with Projects, Operations, Finance, and Accounts.
- Lead and develop the procurement team and ensure performance accountability.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval processes, and procedures.
- Prepare reports on spend, savings, supplier performance, delivery status, and efficiency.
- Conduct supplier visits and market research to identify suppliers, products, and sourcing opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of procurement experience.
- Landscaping, horticulture, nursery, or agriculture experience is preferred.
