The Business Development Manager will lead the strategic development and expansion of the air freight department.
The role focuses on business growth, profitability, market presence, and commercial initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and business growth for the air freight department.
- Manage accounts and provide commercial leadership.
- Oversee reporting and financial management.
- Identify new opportunities and lead initiatives that expand the business.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of UAE freight-forwarding experience, including at least 5 years in air freight.
- Proven track record developing and growing an air freight department or significant business unit.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of air freight market dynamics, regulations, and commercial best practices.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and freight management software.
- Valid UAE driving license.
