Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with safety standards.
Lead warehouse staff, coordinate shipments, manage inventory systems, and align warehouse activity with business needs.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, timely delivery, and accurate documentation.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse processes and safety protocols.
Inventory and Systems
- Implement inventory control systems to minimise stock discrepancies and optimise storage space.
- Use warehouse management software to track inventory levels and generate performance reports.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to maintain operational integrity.
People and Collaboration
- Lead a team of warehouse staff and provide training and guidance to improve productivity and morale.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales to align inventory with business needs.
Vendors and Budget
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics and equipment services.
- Prepare and manage the warehouse operations budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Ability to oversee daily warehouse operations while maintaining efficient workflows and safety standards.
- Experience using warehouse management software to track inventory and generate performance reports.
