Warehouse Assistant / Specialist

The Role

Warehouse Operations

• Process incoming goods, deliveries, returns, transfers, and outbound shipments.
• Verify products, SKUs, quantities, specifications, packaging, and condition against relevant documentation.
• Record receipts and inventory movements in ERP, WMS, inventory-management, or warehouse systems.
• Coordinate put-away into designated locations and maintain accurate location records.
• Support picking, packing, labeling, staging, loading, and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate shipments with Logistics and Transportation teams according to collection and delivery schedules.

Inventory and Stock Control

• Maintain records for receipts, issues, transfers, returns, adjustments, damages, and other warehouse transactions.
• Conduct cycle counts, spot checks, physical inventories, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Identify damaged, defective, expired, obsolete, missing, or incorrectly stored inventory.
• Support supplier and customer returns, including inspection, recording, and categorization.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory aging, FIFO or FEFO rotation, and slow-moving stock.

Safety and Improvement

• Maintain warehouse organization, storage standards, housekeeping, product identification, and location accuracy.
• Follow health, safety, security, product-handling, and warehouse operating procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, product hazards, and security concerns.
• Support capacity planning, layout optimization, barcode or scanning initiatives, and warehouse process improvements.
• Prepare reports covering inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, discrepancies, damages, and operational KPIs.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, receiving, dispatch, or supply-chain operations.
• Experience with stock counts, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, discrepancy investigation, and warehouse transactions.
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, inventory-management, barcode, scanning, POS, or warehouse systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, time-management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, product handling, storage controls, warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with remote and internationally distributed teams.
