Role Overview
The Construction Project Manager will take ownership of construction project delivery from planning through completion.
The role coordinates multidisciplinary teams while managing timelines, budgets, quality, safety, and project performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from planning through completion.
- Develop project schedules, milestones, and execution plans.
- Manage engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Monitor budgets, costs, resources, commercial performance, quality, progress, and productivity.
- Review drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
- Identify risks and delays, implement corrective actions, and improve efficiency.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, KPIs, and management updates.
- Drive project completion, handover, and closeout.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong project planning, execution, budget, schedule, and resource-management skills.
- Excellent leadership, team-management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder and contractor coordination skills.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong awareness of construction quality and safety standards.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with project-management software is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of professional construction or project experience is preferred.
