Work Arrangement
- Location is stated as United Arab Emirates with a fully remote work arrangement.
Warehouse Operations
- Support daily warehouse operations and receive products, materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Verify deliveries, quantities, product codes, specifications, packaging, condition, and receiving discrepancies.
- Store products in designated locations and maintain location records, inventory master data, and storage organization.
- Pick and pack orders, prepare shipping labels and dispatch records, stage completed orders, and coordinate shipment release.
Inventory Control
- Process stock transfers and record inventory movements with supporting documentation.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical stocktakes, reconcile physical and system quantities, and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor damaged, obsolete, expired, slow-moving, excess, returned, and quarantined inventory.
- Monitor stock thresholds, support replenishment and allocation, and identify shortages affecting fulfillment.
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain clean, organized, and labeled warehouse areas and follow housekeeping and 5S procedures where applicable.
- Follow requirements for lifting, handling, stacking, storage, and movement of materials.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, damaged equipment, spills, and other hazards, and support safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
Systems and Reporting
- Use barcode scanners, RFID systems, handheld devices, WMS platforms, ERP systems, and warehouse technologies.
- Identify system or data errors and assist with warehouse automation and digital inventory-management tools.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on receiving, picking, dispatch, accuracy, discrepancies, returns, and productivity.
Coordination and Improvement
- Coordinate with distribution, logistics, procurement, supply-chain, sales, customer-service, quality, and finance teams.
- Recommend improvements to product layout, picking routes, storage locations, material flow, productivity, and processing times.
- Support audits, peak-season fulfillment, promotional activity, product launches, and other management-assigned warehouse responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in warehousing, inventory, logistics, distribution, order fulfillment, or supply chain is required.
- Candidates should understand receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, stock control, and inventory reconciliation.
- The role requires attention to detail, organization, time management, accurate documentation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of warehouse health and safety practices are required.
Advantageous Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or WMS platforms, barcode scanners, handheld inventory devices, RFID, cycle counting, or physical stocktaking is advantageous.
- Familiarity with FIFO, FEFO, batch tracking, serial-number management, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, or similar tools is advantageous.
- A relevant logistics, supply-chain, warehouse-management, operations, or business-administration certificate, diploma, or degree is advantageous.
- Experience with UAE or wider GCC logistics and distribution operations is highly desirable.
Performance Measures
Performance includes inventory, picking, packing, receiving, dispatch, order fulfillment, processing-time, productivity, discrepancy, damage, returns, shrinkage, space-utilization, stocktake, safety, service-level, and customer-order accuracy KPIs.
