Job Purpose

Oversee daily warehouse and production operations and ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.

Ensure employees follow assigned tasks, stock and supplier documents are controlled, and the owner receives clear operational updates.

Order and Production Management

  • Review new, pending, urgent, reprint, pickup, and delivery orders daily.
  • Prepare the daily production plan and assign priorities to employees.
  • Track orders through printing, heat pressing, quality checking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Monitor deadlines, resolve or escalate delays, and keep order statuses accurate.
  • Ensure completed orders pass required quality and quantity checks before release.
  • Coordinate customer order updates when delays, defects, or changes occur.

Employee Supervision

  • Assign daily tasks and follow up on completion.
  • Enforce operating procedures, safety rules, quality standards, and working schedules.
  • Coordinate handovers between printing, heat pressing, packing, and dispatch.
  • Train employees on order handling, quality checks, stock procedures, and workplace organisation.
  • Identify repeated mistakes and implement corrective actions.
  • Report attendance, performance, workload, and staffing concerns to the owner.

Quality Control

  • Conduct final checks on selected or high-value orders before dispatch.
  • Approve authorised reprints, replacements, or additional material use.
  • Record defects, complaints, reprints, returns, and wastage.
  • Investigate recurring production problems and recommend improvements.
  • Document customer complaints and communicate them to the owner.

Inventory and Warehouse Control

  • Monitor fabric, ink, printing paper, packaging, labels, and other consumables.
  • Maintain minimum stock levels and prepare replenishment requests before materials run out.
  • Organise regular stock counts and investigate stock differences or unusual wastage.
  • Ensure materials, customer orders, and finished products are labelled and stored correctly.
  • Maintain separate areas for incoming stock, work in progress, completed orders, returns, and defective products.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, secure, and safe.

Supplier Bills and Administration

  • Review supplier quotations, invoices, receipts, purchase records, and delivery notes.
  • Match supplier invoices against approved orders and delivered quantities.
  • Track paid amounts, pending payments, credit balances, and due dates.
  • Flag incorrect invoices, unexpected charges, or overdue payments to the owner.
  • Prepare regular supplier-payment summaries and maintain operational records.
  • Do not approve new suppliers, significant purchases, or price changes without owner approval.

Owner Communication

  • Provide regular updates covering order status, complaints, stock shortages, supplier issues, equipment faults, staffing concerns, wastage, and quality problems.
  • Escalate urgent matters immediately and obtain approval before decisions outside the agreed budget or authority.

General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate courier collections and customer pickups when required.
  • Secure orders, switch off equipment, and close the premises properly at the end of the day.
  • Support production, packing, customer communication, or receiving deliveries when operationally necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company pricing, suppliers, customers, designs, and financial information.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in warehouse, production, retail operations, or team supervision.
  • Strong organisation, follow-up, problem-solving, communication, and escalation skills.
  • Ability to manage employees while remaining hands-on during busy periods.
  • Comfort using spreadsheets, order-tracking systems, and basic financial records.
  • Basic understanding of invoices, supplier accounts, inventory, and expense control.
  • English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Textile, printing, manufacturing, or e-commerce experience is preferred.

Pay and Work Location

  • Pay is AED 3,500 to AED 4,500 per month.
  • Work location is in person.
